For the price of a cup of coffee, we offer livestream and in-person talks to hear about and discuss the latest ideas and developments in science, technology. We also engage with groups offering information and help on the small changes we can all make to combat climate change.
The Science Cafe is a not-for-profit organisation. The Basingstoke group also provides options for full members, supporters and activists to share member organised social and leisure activities.

The Café Scientifique groups around the UK (and a few overseas) are places where, for the price of a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, anyone can come to explore the latest ideas in science and technology. Meetings take place in cafes, bars, restaurants and even theatres, but always outside a traditional academic context.
As our online world seems set to last for a while, we have been posting interesting science stories in our Facebook Group, where people can comment, discuss etc.
